David Hyland Obituary

David Hyland, 61, of Tiverton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 4, 2019.

 

          An employee at Brayton Point Power Plant as a security guard for 15 years, he was a kind and generous man. He loved spending time with his niece and two nephews.

 

          He leaves his parents, William and Margaret E. "Maggie" (Walsh) Hyland of Tiverton; two sisters, Colleen Hyland of Southwest Harbor, ME and Maureen Rawson (husband Craig) of Tiverton; a niece, Deirdre Strook (husband Sgt. Ian Strook, US Army) of El Paso, TX; two nephews, Christopher Rawson of Sydney, Australia and Daniel W. Hyland of Fall River and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Ssgt. Daniel Hyland, US Air Force.

 

          His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church at 9:00 AM. Interment, Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
