Alodia M. Melo, 91, of Fall River, passed into eternal life on Monday, May 20, 2019.
She was the wife of the late Ilidio B. Melo. She was a member of Conquerors For Christ Church, Dartmouth.
Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jacinto Victoria and Ilda da Costa Cançela. Alodia was employed as a seamstress in the garment industry.
She leaves two daughters, Fatima Amaral (husband João) and Ilidia Melo (husband Luis) and a son, Ilidio C. Melo (wife Nina);
eight grandchildren, Jeffrey, Faith and Brian Amaral; Kevin, David and Jason Melo; Matthew and Mark Melo;
nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
