Alice C. (Mello) Rancourt

Alice C. (Mello) Rancourt, 88, of Tiverton, wife of the late Robert Rancourt, passed away December 29, 2019.

            She loved to write poetry.

            She is survived by her four children, Neal Rancourt and Lynn Aguiar both of Tiverton, Dawn Camara (husband Edward) of Little Compton and Jill Emond (husband Eugene) of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren, Kyle Emond, Jasmin Desmarais, Jonah Camara, Jett Rancourt, Robert Rancourt, Britney Rancourt, Elizabeth Albergaria, and Kiesha Aguiar; six great-grandchildren, Sophia, Samuel, Jaelyn, Penelope, Lacey and Shyla and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eleven siblings and her parents, Manuel and Mary (Branco) Mello.

            A visitation will be held Sunday, January 12 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
