Alice (Harrop) LaBerge

Alice (Harrop) LaBerge, 71, of Westport, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Saint Anne’s Hospital.  Born in Fall River, she was the wife of the late Henry J. LaBerge and the daughter of the late Lester Harrop, Sr. and Beatrice (Frappier) Harrop.

    She had been employed by the former Karen Ann Manufacturing, Fall River.  Alice cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed playing video poker.

    Her survivors include four children, Elizabeth Raposo (husband José) of Dighton, Venus A. DaSilva (husband Marco) of Westport, Marcel LaBerge of Westport and Raymond LaBerge of Westport;

four grandchildren, Nicholas Raposo, Stephanie Raposo, Marco DaSilva, Jr. and Ella DaSilva;

five siblings, Lester Harrop, Jr., Lillian Helley, John Harrop, Jean Harrop and Richard Harrop, all of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

    She was the sister of the late Norman Harrop, Shirley Sands and Ronald Harrop.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.  Cremation to follow.
