Obituary for Donald H. "Ducky" Dupont

Donald H. "Ducky" Dupont, 78, of Fall River, husband of Rosalind (Pacheco) Dupont, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017.

A graduate of Diman Regional Vocational High School, Class of 1957, he served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was employed by Otis Elevator Company. He was a NASCAR and antique car enthusiast and enjoyed camping at the beach, gardening and the outdoors.

Besides his wife of 56 years, he leaves three children, Karen Dupont of Fall River, Michelle Travis of Swansea and Derek Dupont and his fiancée Shelly Rodrigues of Somerset; grandchildren, Justin Dupont, Brittany Lynn Pride and her husband Justin, Ashley Moniz, Corie Travis, Jamie Travis and Andrew Steven Dupont; great-grandchildren, Mailynn and Avalynn Moniz and Aria and Eden Pride; sisters, Dellene Dupont of Berkley and Doris Swales of Swansea; and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Steven "Wheel" Dupont; the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Drapeau) Dupont and the brother of the late Richard Dupont, Diane Barboza and Muriel Correia.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation, Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to American Heart & Stroke Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
