Leo Thorpe, 79, of Fenner St., Fall River, husband of the late Ann Ciappenelli, died Sunday, June 3, 2012.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Lightolier.

He leaves two daughters, Tania-Lee Fernandes and her husband Fernando of Fall River and Meaghan-Lynn Carreiro and her husband Thomas of Swansea; grandchildren, David and Ethan Fernandes and Maddux and Ella-Anne Carreiro; a sister, Dorothea “Dot” Levesque of Fall River; and nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late James and Bridget (Frain) Thorpe; and the brother of the late James, John, Edmund, William and Thomas Thorpe and Margaret and Eleanor Comeau.

Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in Good Shepherd Church. Visitation and flowers omitted. Donations to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River MA 02721 appreciated.
