Maria F. (Medeiros) Hyson Vendituoli, 46, of Fall River, wife of Jonathan Vendituoli; widow of James "Jack" Hyson and daughter of Urania (Paulino) Medeiros of Fall River and the late Jose J. Medeiros, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

A hairdresser, she was a graduate of Rob Roy Academy. She was a former employee of Tillitson Rubber and was a generous benefactor to many, especially people experiencing homelessness.

Besides her husband and mother she leaves, a daughter, Tanisha Bertrand and her husband Bryant Rivera of Fall River; a stepson, Connor Vendituoli of Fall River; grandchildren, Chanteli Ortiz, and Bryant and Joleah Rivera; siblings, Mario Medeiros, Dorothy Pacheco, and Natalie Medeiros, all of Fall River, John Medeiros in the Azores; a godchild, Stevi-Lyn Bourgeois; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jose Medeiros.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 5:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
